A microwave is believed to have been at the root of a fire that damaged a flat.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to tackle a blaze in Belsize Park Gardens just after 8.05am on Tuesday (February 28).
Part of a flat on the second floor of a converted semi-detached house was damaged by fire, London Fire Brigade said.
There were no reports of any injuries and the flames were under control by 9.18am.
Fire crews from Kentish Town and Euston fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental and involved a microwave.
