Three teenagers are currently in police custody after a 17-year-old boy was left fighting for his life after being stabbed.
Emergency services were called just after 2pm on Wednesday (March 22) to reports of a male stabbed in the vicinity of Maitland Park Road, in Belsize Park.
Police officers and paramedics attended and found a 17-year-old with a stab injury.
He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service and remains in a critical condition, Scotland Yard said.
His next of kin have been informed.
A Met spokesperson added: "A number of crime scenes were put in place, three weapons have been recovered.
"Three people, all aged in their late teens, have been arrested in connection with the investigation and remain in police custody."
