Police are trying to trace the family of a man found dead in Swiss Cottage at the weekend.

The Met was called to Winchester Road, Camden, at 4.45am on Saturday, April 22, by the London Ambulance Service.

Paramedics had been called ten minutes earlier and found the man dead inside a residential property.

“We sent a medic in a fast response car and an ambulance crew to the scene,” said the London Ambulance Service.

“Our first medic arrived in approximately two minutes. Sadly, a man was found deceased at the scene.”

The Metropolitan Police sent officers to the scene, between Hampstead Theatre and the Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre, and the Chalcots estate.

“Officers attended and carried out enquiries at the scene,” a spokesperson said.

“The death was unexpected but is not being treated as suspicious. Enquiries are taking place to locate and inform the man’s next of kin.

“A report will be prepared for the coroner.”
