This could be your chance to serve a pint to locals as four north London pubs are on the market.
Watering holes are often considered much-loved venues in local communities, and now four are being offered by auctioneers MyAuction.
Biddings will open for all four spots on May 16 from 12pm and potential buyers will have until the next day at 4.30pm to place a bid.
All four can be found around different parts of north London, here’s a look at what is being offered:
The Lord Southampton, Kentish Town
In 2022, the pub was boarded up and closed.
MyAuction says that the property is listed as a building of merit, but does not lie within a conservation area.
The auctioneer says that the development “lends itself to future development potential” - whether that involves converting the existing building or changing the use from commercial to residential.
The four-storey building is 4,667sqft, with the ground floor and basement vacant and the first and second floors let at £54,000 per annum on a five-year lease until September 9, 2027.
Its minimum opening bid is £1,300,000.
Currently the pub is still open to the public, and this year it was ranked 23rd out of the top 50 gastro pubs in the UK according to top50gastropubs.com
The four-storey public house is let on a 15-year lease from February 2022, with passing rent of £80,000 per annum.
MyAuction says that the property is not listed, but it does lie within the Arlington Square conservation area.
The basement has a cold beer store and ancillary storage, the ground floor has a bar with a seating area, toilets, kitchen and single bar servery of up to 1,130sqft.
The first floor has a trade kitchen, mechanical hoist, function room, bathroom and separate toilet, while the second floor has a domestic kitchen and two bedrooms.
Its minimum opening bid is £1,500,000.
This pub shut after its licence was revoked in 2021 following a stabbing outside the venue.
The two-storey building of 3,960sqft has “potential for various alternative uses”, MyAuction has said.
It is under a pitched clay tile roof with an enclosed yard area, which is advertised to be used as off-street parking.
MyAuction said: “It is our opinion that the property lends itself to future development potential whether that be conversion of the existing building, change of use from commercial to residential or demolition to erect new build apartment.”
Its minimum opening bid is £1,200,000.
Located in Scotland Green, the pub continues to operate during this time.
The freehold four-storey public house is located just around the corner from the High Street, and a 15-minute walk away from Tottenham Hotspur Football Stadium.
It is currently let at £80,000 per annum.
The Victorian style red-bricked property has a single-storey extension as well as an enclosed yard.
Its minimum opening bid is £1,200,000.
