Two children and three adults have been treated for smoke inhalation after a blaze tore through a terraced house.
Around 40 firefighters and six fire engines were called to Fortis Green Avenue, East Finchley, at 4.42am this morning (May 19).
The blaze, which took almost four hours to put out, damaged part of the ground and first floors of the two-storey terrace.
Three adults and two children were treated by London Ambulance Service crews for smoke inhalation.
Half of the house's loft, which had been converted into flats, along with half of the property's roof, was also damaged in the blaze.
The road was closed until around 9.45am as firefighters tackled the blaze.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) crews from Hornsey, Finchley, Holloway, Tottenham attended the scene and the fire was under control by 8.38am.
A LFB spokesperson said that the brigade received nine calls about the fire and that its cause is currently under investigation.
