Hampstead Heath's Lido may be closed as a mini-heatwave is expected to bring the hottest day of the year so far.
The Parliament Lido, in Gospel Oak, has been closed since Friday (May 19) following a burst water main.
The City of London Corporation, which manages the outdoor pool, is urging swimmers to use the mixed, men's or ladies ponds on the Heath while the issue is sorted out.
According to the Met Office, temperatures in London are set to rise to 21C tomorrow (May 24), the hottest day of the year so far.
The Lido will remain closed today (Tuesday 23 May) while the repairs continue on the burst water pipe. Season ticket holders can use the Ponds while the Lido is closed. We'll update you when we know more about a date to reopen the Lido (which we hope is very soon).

On Tuesday CoLC's twitter handle for the Heath, @CityCorpHeath, tweeted: " The Lido will remain closed today (Tuesday 23 May) while the repairs continue on the burst water pipe.
"Season ticket holders can use the Ponds while the Lido is closed. We'll update you when we know more about a date to reopen the Lido (which we hope is very soon)."
The Ham&High approached ColC for comment on the burst water pipe and when the reopening the pool seems likely, but the organisation has declined to comment.
