Plans to add two floors to a block of flats, keep a merry go round at Camden Market and upgrade a supermarket car park are among applications to Camden Council.
The applications have all been submitted to Camden Council over the past two weeks in the Ham & High readership area.
The council is currently reviewing each application and has yet to make a decision on any of them.
One application - reference 2023/2262/P - seeks permission for the erection of a two-storey upward extension to a detached block of flats in Finchley Road.
The extension is intended to create five new flats.
Another is for the installation of solar panels, air source heat pumps, and replacement timber windows and doors at a council building in York Way (2023/1661/P).
A request for full planning permission has been submitted for the erection of a single storey rear outbuilding at a flat in Camden Street (2023/1616/P).
Camden Council has also received proposals for works to the car park at the Saisbury's supermarket in Camden Road (2023/2130/P).
The works include the replacement of the existing travellator, installation of a new customer lift, the relocation of EV charging spaces, and the installation of new cycle stands.
A proposal (2023/2140/P) in the Camden Town area was also submitted for the extension of temporary permission for a Merry Go Round in Market Square for a further year. This would keep the attraction until May 31, 2024.
Also in Finchley Road, ESCP Business School has asked for permission to erect a temporary single-storey modular classroom with a canopy, security gates and fencing next to the car park behind the existing school for three years (2023/2430/P).
In Gospel Oak, application number 2023/2203/P seeks permission for the creation of a two-bedroom maisonette from existing flats.
The application also includes the erection of a single-storey lower ground floor rear extension and associated alterations.
Two applications have been submitted in Dartmouth Park, the first of which proposes to introduce a metal bike shed in front of a property in York Rise under application number 2023/1941/P.
The second application proposes the demolition and replacement of a ground and first-floor rear extension at a property on Dartmouth Park Road (2023/2093/P).
Meanwhile, an application under reference number 2023/2411/T proposes to either cut-down or trim back trees within the grounds of La Sainte Union Convent School in Highgate Road.
Among the trees due for works are a silver birch and an ash, as well as multiple Lombardy poplars and horse chestnuts.
