Timings have been released for Pulp's first London date in Finsbury Park.
The Sheffield indie rockers reunited for a second time with a series of UK dates starting in Bridlington Spa last month, and taking in festival appearances, at Glasgow’s TRNSMT (Jyly 7) and Latitude (July 21) and two homecoming gigs at Sheffield's Utilita Arena.
Announcing the shows last October, frontman Jarvis Cocker wrote: "Three months ago, we asked, What exactly do you do for an encore? Well… An encore happens when the crowd makes enough noise to bring the band back to the stage. So…We are playing in the UK & Ireland in 2023. Therefore… Come along & make some noise. See you there."
The Finsbury Park show in front of 45,000 fans features a line-up of Jarvis Cocker, Candida Doyle, Nick Banks and Mark Webber. Supporting the Common People hitmakers will be special guests, Brit and Grammy winners Wet Leg.
Gates open at 3pm. Exotic Gardens are due on at 5.05pm with Baxter Dury on stage at 6pm. Wet Leg play at 7.10pm with headliners Pulp taking to the stage at 8.40pm with a strict 10.30pm finish time so as not to disturb local residents.
A series of summer gigs in the Park starts on Friday (June 30) with Wimbledon singer songwriter and rapper Jamie T headlining alongside IDLES, Kojey Radical and Hak Baker. The 1975 play in July 2 then Friday 7-9 is Wireless Festival England's biggest rap and urban music event.
