A man has died after a fire broke out in a flat in a row of terraced houses.
Firefighters were called to Woodyard Close in Kentish Town this morning (July 6) at 6.56am.
The man was found on the ground floor of the property and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Five other people managed to leave the building before the brigade arrived.
Most of the ground and first floors of a mid-terraced house converted into flats were alight.
Around 70 firefighters and ten fire engines arrived after 13 calls.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
