A larger cafe area, a play fountain to replace the splash pool and boardwalks across wetlands are being proposed to improve parts of Hampstead Heath.
The City of London Corporation (CoLC), which runs the heath, is undertaking a masterplan for improving and renewing areas of Parliament Hill.
They have recruited landscape architects LUC Consultants to draw up ideas for improving some areas and are looking for people's views.
Huge changes are already occuring on Hampstead Heath, with the corporation undertaking a £2 million refurbishment of the athletics track and a £900,000 project to improve disabled access and lifesaving facilities at Hampstead Heath’s men's, mixed and ladies' bathing ponds.
The online consultation, which ends on August 3, includes six questions about subjects including changes to the cafe area, the wetlands area and also turning the children's splash pool into a play fountain.
Respondents are asked how often they visit the Parliament Hill area and for what main reason.
They can only choose one - such as quiet time, sport or swimming, dog walking or jogging or 'other' to list several or reasons of their own.
Proposed new wetland area improvements include better management of stormwater with boardwalks and rain gardens, but there is an option for the area to remain the same.
Proposed café improvements include a refurbished and extended area to include an information hub and new enlarged outdoor seating area.
Also up for a potential revamp is the under 5's children's play area, where respondants can rate it from poor to excellent and choose whether to improve it.
There are also potential improvements to the larger playground and turning the splash pool behind it into a play fountain.
