London Euston rail chaos after fallen tree blocks all lines

Disruption to rail journeys is expected until the end of the day after the blockage was reported by National Rail at 4.11pm.

Trains running to and from London Euston could be delayed by up to an hour or cancelled, passengers have been warned ahead of rush hour.

Five trains departing from Watford Junction for London Euston have already been cancelled. Trains at 4.33pm, 4.45pm, and 5.12pm to the station are still set to go ahead.

All train routes that end at Watford Junction from London Euston are set to be cancelled for over an hour but several trains stopping there before progressing onwards are still set to go ahead including a 4.34pm service to Tring via Watford Junction.

Tickets can be used on London Underground services on the Metropolitan Line between Watford and London and passengers impacted by the numerous expected delays have been advised they may be entitled to compensation.
