A man has been charged with the rape of a woman dating back more than 30 years.
Lester Jackson, 54, of no fixed address, has been charged with raping a woman in Finchley in 1989.
He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (October 11).

Jackson was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on November 8.
The charge follows an investigation by Metropolitan Police detectives in north west London.
