One hundred lucky couples will be able to get married where the likes of Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney tied the knot – and it will only cost them £100.
Old Marylebone Town Hall will celebrate its 100th anniversary on October 1 next year.
To mark the occasion, the venue will offer 100 lucky couple the opportunity to get married or form a civil partnership for just a tenth of the average fee.
Depending on the day of the week, most couples can typically expect to pay anywhere from £621 to more than £1,200 for their ceremony.
Famous faces to have been married at the town hall in the past include Ringo Starr, Cilla Black, Liam Gallagher and Sir Paul McCartney.
On the day of the anniversary, wedding or civil partnership services will start from 8am and run until 10.30pm.
All 75 staff members at the hall will work to deliver seven ceremonies an hour for couples with up to eight guests.
Applications for ceremonies are open now for people who live, work or study in Westminster until December 1.
City of Westminster’s cabinet member for young people, learning and culture, Cllr Tim Roca said: “We’re so lucky to be the custodians of one of Britain’s most illustrious and cherished wedding venues which has seen thousands celebrate their love for one another.
“The Old Marylebone Town Hall is a great monument of Westminster, and we are proud to be celebrating 100 years of its standing.
“I am excited to see 100 couples marry on October 1 and hope that we see lots of our local people at the hall”.
