A woman had to be rushed to hospital after she was injured in a hit-and-run e-scooter crash in West Hampstead.
Police were called to West End Lane close to West Hampstead station just before 9.30pm on Saturday (November 18).
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service (LAS) after receiving reports that a woman pedestrian had been injured in a crash with an electric scooter.
The woman, who is aged in her 40s, was rushed to hospital for treatment. Her condition has since been assessed as “not life-threatening”.
Police said that the e-scooter rider did not stop at the scene and that enquiries are under way to identify them.
A cordon that was put in place while emergency services worked at the crime scene was lifted just before 11.45pm that evening.
