A high-end shoe company is to open a shop in Hampstead in an "exciting" new move.
Luxury footwear and handbag specialist Russell & Bromley is due to open its first shop in Hampstead High Street in the spring.
The British firm, which was founded in 1873, replaces the former clothes shop Zagid & Voltaire, which has moved further down the high street.
Raven Green, a commercial consultant that manages properties, announced the planned opening.
"It's quite a decision but then it's their first time in Hampstead," said Raven Green director Malcolm Raven.
"My company has been quite active in Hampstead for 30 years and have been involved in a number of lets and this is a very encouraging one."
He said the store will be fitted out and launched in March.
"It's exciting times for Hampstead, it brings vibrancy back to the High Street and confirms Hampstead as a popular location," he added.
Russell & Bromley has been contacted.
