Two people have been arrested after a burglary call-out led to a police car being damaged and an officer assaulted.
Police were called to reports of a person breaking into a house in Cambridge Road, South Kilburn at 8.19pm last night (Saturday, January 6).
Officers attended tand arrested a man on suspicion of handling stolen goods and burglary, the Metropolitan Police said.
Both the man, and a woman believed to be known to him, are also reported to have caused criminal damage to a police car.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, obstructing police and assaulting an emergency worker.
No officers required hospital treatment, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson added.
Both the man and woman have been taken into police custody.
