A drug dealer has been jailed after he was caught with £25,485 in cash and over £80,000 worth of cocaine.
Kristi Como, 27, of Wood Green, was arrested in November last year after officers witnessed him and 26-year-old Ermal Radohina exchanging what they believed to be cash and drugs in Nailsea, North Somerset.
When officers searched the vehicle they were in they found £25,495 in cash and 990g of high purity cocaine, worth between £80,000 and £100,000 on the streets.
Officers had been following the pair because Como had been involved in another drugs exchange just two weeks before.
On that occasion Como was seen supplying a man with just over a kilo of cocaine.
Como pleaded guilty to his role in both offences and was sentenced to three years and eight months in prison.
Detective Inspector Tristan Hawkes, of the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit, said: “Drug dealing destroys lives and communities, and we are committed to pursuing the organised crime groups involved.
“Community intelligence is vital and I would encourage anyone who has any information about suspicious activity their area to report their concerns.”
