Head injuries suffered by a woman after an “alleyway assault” near Finchley Road are not thought to be life-threatening, police have said.
London Ambulance Service called police to the incident in Lithos Road, South Hampstead, just before 11am yesterday (March 29).
Officers conducted a search of the area and found a woman aged in her 30s in a nearby alleyway.
She had suffered a laceration to her head, and was rushed to hospital by emergency services.
A police spokesperson has today (March 30) confirmed that the woman’s injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing at this time.
