A man's death in Maida Vale is being treated as "unexpected", police say.
Officers closed off Clifton Road in Maida Vale both ways between Randolph Avenue and the A5 from 1.30am on Friday (May 17).
It remained shut for hours as officers were called down to reports of a man found unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing, the Metropolitan Police said.
However the death is being treated as unexpected and is not thought to be suspicious.
The next of kin are aware.
