Regent’s Park is getting ready to host one of London’s biggest annual food events.

Taste of London started out with humble beginnings as a small festival in 2004, and is now preparing to welcome its millionth guest when it opens its doors on June 12.

Across its two decades, more than 1,000 restaurants have served up over 3.25 million dishes, and it has been a launch pad for an incredible roster of chefs and restaurants.

The concept has even spread worldwide with more than 27 Taste events having taken place across 20 countries.

For this year’s festival, London’s top restaurants and talented chefs will descend on the Royal Park over five days to cook up a storm for visitors.

As always there will be exclusive culinary experiences, a unique energy and upbeat vibe, and incredible feasting and drinking.

Each restaurant will serve up its most loved dishes all week alongside a Taste of London exclusive that will only be available at this year’s festival.

Dishes include a Cornish Cuttlefish Bolognese from Faber, Chilled Confit Duck Mazemen from Bone Daddies, and Wagyu Taro Croquettes from Dim Sum Terrace.

Alongside favourites such as a Jackfruit Stuffed Roti from Kolamba to a Crab Taco at Le Petit Beefbar or the iconic Spaghetti al Tartufo from Big Mamma; there is truly something for everyone.

New for this year, the line-up includes a decked out food truck channelling the hugely popular TV series The Bear, offering an immersive eating experience that promises to be a lot less stressful than watching the show.

The food will be dished up by Mob in partnership with Disney+ with dishes that Carmy would be proud of, including beef cheek and bone marrow doughnuts, and potato röstis with cheddar and comté custard.

Old favourites making a welcome return to the party include The Fire Pit with Coca-Cola Zero Sugar for some flame-licked barbeque demonstrations.

Taking centre stage on the coals will be appearances from Great British Menu winner James Cochran, Million Pound Menu star Jay Morjaria, and self-taught chef and television personality Big Zuu.

British wine and seafood restaurant Faber, with its French Riviera-inspired cuisine, Mimosa at The Langham, and Taste icon and Chinatown favourite, Dumplings’ Legend will also be joining the festival.

Food delivery service Uber Eats will be presenting Uber Eats Daily Specials, bringing on board exciting new partners Enish, home to authentic Nigerian cuisine, and Oka, where tradition meets modern Japanese grill.

Also joining the eclectic list will be modern Indian leaders, Farzi, family-owned favourites Afghan Caravan, Santo Remedio, sharing their modern take on Mexican street food and providing the sweet treats straight from Hackney, Treats Club.
