A teenager who was caught with heroin, cocaine and a police baton at Euston station has been jailed.
Emmauel Arosomade, 19, of Papermill Place, Walthamstow, was spotted attempting to board a train to Northampton on May 2.
Due to his behaviour when approached by plain clothes officers he was detained and searched by officers from the British Transport Police County Lines Taskforce.
It was discovered that Arosomade was carrying a metal police baton in his jacket pocket and drugs wrapped in cling film in his tracksuit bottoms.
Inspections revealed the drugs were crack cocaine with an estimated street value of £1,100.
Arosomade pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
On June 30 he was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court to three years and four months in prison.
Investigating officer Trainee Detective Constable Daniel Burke said: “Attempting to transport hefty hauls of class A drugs in plain sight on the railway is not a good idea.
“We have highly trained specialist officers working across the country as part of our County Lines Taskforce – we are watching you and you will be apprehended and face the consequences.”
