A Labour councillor first elected in 2010, Georgia Gould has been leader of Camden Council since 2017.
She has chaired the London Councils association since 2020.
She is the daughter of Baron Gould of Brookwood, an adviser to the Labour Party.
Her mother is Gail Rebuck, chair of Penguin Random House UK and a Labour peer.
She grew up in Kentish Town and attended Camden School for Girls.
