Camden Council is to elect a new leader after its previous head became an MP in the general election.
Georgia Gould, who was leader of the council since 2017, was elected as MP for Queen's Park and Maida Vale and has stood down as a councillor.
Her successor will be decided at the council's next meeting on Monday evening (July 22).
It is not the first time the council has had to fill the role. When Ms Gould was on maternity leave last year she was replaced by her deputy, Cllr Pat Callaghan, with Cllr Adam Harrison deputising.
When elected, the leader of the council is expected to serve until the annual meeting after the next whole council elections.
The new leader will also give their intentions regarding the deputy leader and cabinet.
Two other senior roles will need filling. Cllr Danny Beales, cabinet member for new homes, jobs and community investment, and chief whip Cllr Lloyd Hatton were also elected as MPs on July 4, with their positions also needing to be filled.
The meeting will take place in the Town Hall council chamber in Judd Street, at 7pm.
Camden Council is yet to announce the date of the by-elections to replace all three as Labour councillors.
