A well-known bagel bakery on the edge of Hampstead Heath is closing.
Roni's Bagel Bakery, in Swain's Lane, is closing on August 12 and is being replaced by B Bagel.
But while the name above the door may change, the businesses are related.
Alon Kubi, who owns Roni's - which is named after his father-in-law - is also co-founder of B Bagel along with business partner Yoav Baumgarten.
A staff member at Roni's, who asked not to be named, confirmed the cafe's closure and said it was "common knowledge".
They said: "The owner owns another company called B Bagel. On August 12 we're closing for roughly a month then we will reopen as B Bagel."
B Bagel will serve a variety of classic, special, brunch and vegan bagels.
The chain already has shops in Camden High Street, Tottenham Court Road, and Brent Cross Shopping Centre where it offers eat-in, take away or delivery.
It also has outlets in Soho, and Fulham Road in Chelsea where customers can not sit in.
B Bagel has been contacted.
