Plans to build a 15-metre 5G mast next to an open space in a residential area have been revealed.
Mobile operator Three says it has identified Shepherds Hill in Crouch End as a suitable location to install the mast.
In a letter notifying local stakeholders about the plans, Three said the 15m pole was necessary to “improve coverage and capacity” in the area.
The mast would be placed in front of Shepherds Hill Gardens, and three equipment cabinets would be built next to it at ground level.
This followed Haringey Council’s refusal of permission for equipment including six antennas on top of Eton Court in Shepherds Hill in December 2020.
A planning application has not yet been submitted for the latest proposals.
