Saracens captain Jamie George is expecting a 'huge challenge' from Lyon in the Heineken Champions Cup this weekend.

Sarries have won their first two group matches in Europe's elite competition to put themselves into a strong position to reach the knockout stages.

And a return win over the French club at StoneX Stadium on Saturday (8pm) will further boost their hopes of progressing.

"We love this competition and after making a strong start in the first two rounds we are all desperate to give ourselves the best chance of qualification," George told the club website.

"The game over in Lyon was a huge challenge and we are expecting exactly the same.

"They are an incredibly physical side and we had to work incredibly hard for that win so we have had a big week of training ahead of what is a really important game for us."

Director of rugby Mark McCall has made four changes to his starting line-up after the dramatic Gallagher Premiership win at Gloucester last Friday.

Ivan van Zyl returns at scrum-half, with Alex Goode at number 10 following Owen Farrell's ban, an Nick Tompkins joins Alex Lozowski in midfield, with Sean Maitland back at left wing and Elliot Daly at full-back, as Max Malins moves to right wing.

Hooker George leads the side, with Mako Vunipola and Marco Riccioni either side of him in the front row and Maro Itoje and Hugh Tizard in the second row.

Andy Christie, Ben Earl and Billy Vunipola complete the back row as Sarries prepare to face the sizeable Lyon pack.
